What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, email, phone number (optional), trip type and the details you write in your message.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address (and name if you give it).
- Calls and WhatsApp: if you book a call through Calendly or message us on WhatsApp, those services process your details under their own privacy policies.
- Website analytics: Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data such as pages visited and device type, using cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and plan and book your trip (necessary to take steps at your request).
- To send travel inspiration, offers and news by email, only if you have signed up (your consent). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it (legitimate interests).
Who we share it with
When you book, we share the details needed with the travel suppliers and booking partners involved in your trip. We use trusted service providers to run this website and our emails (including our website host, WordPress/Jetpack, Google and Calendly). We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to 2 years. Booking records are kept as long as needed for legal and accounting purposes. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@daisysescapes.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
